CSL operates on a very wide scale and to meet its varied needs of cash transportation and logistics needs different kinds of vehicles. Internally CSL has laid down specifications for each type of cash vehicle and these specifications are followed in totality.
In addition to the internal specifications, CSL also build vehicles specially for some clients as per their own requirements. However, if these are lower than the internal specs, internal specs are used.
Different kinds of vans and small brief of each are given below:
- Bulletproof Vans:
The body structure is made up of combination of bullet resistant steel panels and bullet resistant hardened special purpose automotive glass.
- Secured cash vans:
These are secured vans with lower specifications than bullet proof vans and are used mainly for intra city transport.
- Cash Vans:
These vans are low security vans used for intra city low value transits. These are preferred on internal and crowded roads of typical Indian city.
